SHRI BATUK BHAIRAV

श्री बाल शिवाय बटुक भैरवाय नमः -

भगवन शिव के बाल रूप पे हर व्यक्ति सोचता है ये कब हुआ या ये कौन है ? ऐसी अनेकों बातें मष्तिस्क में रहती है क्यों की भगवान् शिव के सन्दर्भ व्यक्ति का अध्ययन या कथाओं के माध्यम से व्यक्ति इतना ही जानता है भगवान् शिव जोगी है ज्ञान के देवता है पार्वती उनकी पत्नी है गणेश कार्तिकेय पुत्र है ।

बटुक भैरव , उन्मत्त भैरव, संहार भैरव, काल भैरव आदि का नाम आने पे भ्रान्ति वस प्रचलित माँ वैष्णों देवी में जो भैरो है उन्हें हर व्यक्ति भैरव या बटुक भैरव समझ लेता है जब की ऐसा नहीं है वो एक अघोरी संत थे जिनका नाम भरो था भगवती पे कुदृष्टि रखने पे भगवती रुष्ट हो गई और उन्हों ने वध किया पर भैरव भगवान् शिव का साक्षात रूप है रुद्रयामल तंत्र के अनुसार भगवती पार्वती ने 64 योगिनी रूप रखे तब भगवान् शिव ने उनसे विवाह के लिए 64 रूप रखा वो 64 रूप 64 भैरव बने इसमें मुख्य कालभैरव है बटुक भैरव रूप इन रूपों से भिन्न है और तंत्र के प्रधान देव के रूप में प्रसिद्ध है बटुक भैरव कथाओं के अनुशार जब ब्रह्मा को अहम् हुआ अपने को सर्व श्रेष्ठ बताने में उन्हों ने शिव और विष्णु को काफी तुच्छ दिखाया बुरा भला कहा तब भगवान शिव के क्रोध रूप में एक बालक का जन्म हुआ जिसने प्रथम रूप ब्रह्मा को समझाया कि आप ऐसा न करे तो ब्रह्मा जी ने उस बालक को कहा मैं तुम्हे अपार शक्ति प्रदान करता हूँ तुम मेरे पुत्र बन जाओ पुनः जब शिव विरोध किया तो वह बालक काल भैरव बन गया और अपने नाखून से ब्रह्मा का पाँचवाँ शर धड़ से अलग कर दिया तब भगवान शंकर ने कहा अपने न्याय किया अपितु आपको ब्रह्म दोष भी लगेगा फिर शिव आदेश हुआ की आप ब्रह्मा शर लो और दिन रात घूमो जहाँ ये स्वतः भूमि में स्पर्श हो जाये वही छोड़ देना जब काल भैरव घूम रहे थे तब वह घूमते घूमते काशी पहुंचे तब वहां गंगा स्नान करने लगे तब वह सर जमीन में छू गया और वहां कपाल मोचन तीर्थ बना और कालभैरव काशी के कोतवाल रूप में विराज मान हो गए विना इनके दर्शन के काशी वास नहीं प्राप्त होता ।

श्री बटुक भैरव के पूजन से अरिष्टों का नाश होता है इनकी साधना बहुत ही अलग साधना है ।

The knowledge about child incarnation of lord Shiva is new to most people and they often think who is he and when did Shiva took the child awtar. Thousands of such thoughts strike our minds because after studying about lord shiva we only come to know that he was a sadhu and god of knowledge,wi th goddess Parvati as his wife , Ganesha and Kartikeya as his childern. After listening  the name of Batuk Bhairava ,Unmatt Bhairava,Sanghar Bhairava, Kaal Bhairava or Child Shiva people often confuse him with the bhairava in the story of Vaishnodevi but it is not the truth. The bhairava which is mentioned there was about the aghori saint named bhairav who had wrong feelings for goddess Bhagwati hence it made goddess angry and she killed him. But the Bhairava is the true incarnation of lord shiva. According to rudryamal tantra goddess Bhagwati took 64 yogini roop or incarnations, then to marry her lord Shiva took 64 incarnations these 64 awtars were the 64 Bhairava . Among them Kalbhairava is the main one. But Batuk Bhairava is different from all of them he is symbolized as the main lord of tantra. According to the stories mentioned about him when ego stuck lord Brahma and he felt that he is the greatest of all then he used absurd words for lord Vishnu and Shiva, this enraged lord Shiva and with his fierce awtar Batuk Bhairava was born who insisted Brahma not to say like that . Then Brahma told that child i am giving you immense shakti or power you become my child. These words put fire on child bhairav's anger and he took the awtar of Kaal Bhairava who plucked the 5th head of Brahma with his nails. To this lord Shiva said you did justice but you have to bear Brahma dosh or sin and to remove it you have to take his head and travel day and night, the place where this head touches the earth on its own leave it there. While Kaal Bhairava was on his way and he reached Kashi ( varanasi) and was bathing in Ganga that head touched the earth and then Kaapal Mochan Temple was build there. Since then Kaal Bhairava is known as the Kotwal (police) of Kaashi  and without his darshan one can't live there. Worshiping of shri Batuk Bhairava is completely different and with is worship all kinds of negative energies , ghost, evils are destroyed.
